It may be a little backwards since we firstly saw powerful Alfa Romeo Giulia QV and now a base model that most people will end up with. Although the base model doesn’t have all the goodies like QV model, it is altogether a very nice car. And why wouldn’t be, since the Italians know a thing or two when it comes to design. In other words, 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia will fulfill most of your needs and desires.
2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia – Beautiful Design
There are of course many similarities with the QV model. On the front, we can see same recognizable Alfa Romeo’s triangular grille with a chrome outline. Side air intakes covered with beautiful mesh are somewhat smaller. The hood and headlights are identical to QV model. When to come to think of it, one of the main difference in design is that 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan doesn’t have a spoiler on the front and in the rear like the QV model. So design is how to put it, beautiful.

As for the interior, all is wrapped in leather. Two options are available to choose from. One is all black and the other is Tan, black and wooden details. The 2.9-liter Biturbo engine with 505 horsepower is used to power the QV model. But unfortunately, this will not be available in 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia. But there are three other variants available, two types of diesel and one gasoline. The first option is 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine with 197 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. The second and third option is 2.2-liter diesel, also 4-cylinder engine with either 148 or 177 horsepower. Both diesel variants come with eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual. The thing is however that for US market only gasoline engine will be available. But there’s a twist. It will have much more horsepower than its European brother. The exact number is 276 horsepower with 295-lb-ft of torque. All that power will be sent to rear wheels via the new eight-speed automatic transmission.
