Audi S6 is how some say it, just right. Seating between an S4 and S8 is not small and not too big. Since customers from this segment are slowly merging to SUV market Germans must improve their lineup on a yearly basis. There are some reports what changes will 2018 Audi S6 bring. One is a completely new design, but that will probably be later. We all know by now that new Audi A8 flagship will arrive in 2018 with all sorts of new technology, so in the near future, we can expect a whole new generation of A6, and therefore and S6 as well. Until that let’s see what new will 2018 S6 bring.

2018 Audi S6 – Exterior Design
When it comes to exterior, the only difference is in the stance that this performance car brings. Beside hexagonal Singleframe grille, there is an S6 red emblem that hints that this is not just an ordinary car. The current model has Xenon headlights and daytime running lights in the base trim. But on Prestige headlights are full LED. Some reports say that Xenon lights won’t be available anymore. To round up, 2018 Audi S6 won’t bring any drastic changes. At the rear, quad exhaust pipes are here to stay.
2018 Audi S6 – Interior
The interior comes with high-quality materials as we expect from this line of models. Inside, we can find Valcona leather seats with contrast diamond stitching. An S emblem can be seen on those as well as on the bottom of three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel. What’s more interesting in S6 is technology. Some say that 2018 Audi S6 will borrow some of the advanced systems from new A8, like Personal Intelligent Assistant. But we hardly doubt it, if that is to carry on the A6 and S6 it will be on all-new generation. This is even more backed up with fact that S6 at this moment doesn’t have Virtual Cockpit, but 2018 Audi S6 might bring in that innovation too.

2018 Audi S6 – New Gearbox
This luxury model wouldn’t be an “S” without a powerful drivetrain. And at this moment, the only info is that 2018 Audi S6 will continue to use existing 4.0-liter twin turbo V8. It produces 450 horsepower, but we think that will change. Audi engineers worked on S4 and S5 3.0-liter V6 and they made over 800 modifications, increasing horsepower while reducing fuel consumption. If they revamp the V8 we can expect a slight increase as well for 2018 Audi S6. More important is the gearbox. Two above mentioned models are using eight-speed automatic transmission. They are no longer available with seven-speed S Tronic. So this eight-speed gearbox might found its way in the spec info of new S6. The two trims of this model have a lot in common and one of those is famous Quattro AWD system.

2018 Audi S6 – Price
The price of 2018 Audi S6 at this moment is unknown. But with slight modifications to the new model, the price will surely rise. But to keep it competitive price for base model probably won’t be over $75.000 mark. We can expect new S6 in early 2018, slightly after new A6 would be available.
