Honda has achieved quite a success with their Pilot. With this model, they have established themselves good in SUV segment. This famous family car is popular more and more by the year. So, will there be any changes to the 2018 Honda Pilot? Probably not.
2018 Honda Pilot – Design
But, why would it? The Pilot looks very nice. The whole design of this mid-size SUV is completely redesigned for 2016 model year. They’ve done a beautiful job with a front end that looks aggressive with three-chrome plated crossbars. Fenders and body lines give it more masculine look. So, even early with radical changes, this SUV might offer new exterior colors and minor exterior cosmetic changes. In other words, minor changes to the front grille and possibly headlights.
2018 Honda Pilot – Interior Tech
The interior probably won’t go through any changes at all. But the Pilot has the best quality to price ratio. So, even with the modest price this model offers high-quality materials. The combination of soft-touch materials and leather only makes 2018 Honda Pilot more pleasurable. But it’s not only that. The technology list is long. Behind the multifunctional steering wheel, there is a combination of gauges. There is digital speedometer screen next to 4.2-inch onboard computer. We won’t spend words about comfort for all eight occupants since it’s on the high level.
2018 Honda Pilot – One Engine Remains
As for the powertrain, there will be only one option. It is the same 3.5-liter V6 engine. Its output is 280 horsepower. It comes with FWD and six-speed automatic transmission. But there is more advanced nine-speed ZF automatic transmission optional. AWD is also available. Safety will be no issue with 2018 Honda Pilot since 2017 Pilot received Top Safety Pick+ award from the IIHS.
2018 Honda Pilot – Release Date
New 2018 Honda Pilot will be available by the end of 2017. Even if some changes take place, the price won’t go much higher than currents $30.000.
