2018 Jaguar XF Gets New Base Engine

Jaguar is broadening the engine lineup for their models. This is thanks to their new Ingenium engine family. Like XE who received new turbo 4-cylinder engine, the same treatment will also receive the 2018 Jaguar XF who was until now available only with V6. For most Americans, this isn’t spectacular news, since the majority will always prefer bigger volume V6 than any 4-cylinder one. But with smaller base engine comes a smaller base price. Therefore, Jaguar will be even less pricey than its rivals like Mercedes-Benz E-class, BMW 5-Series, Volvo S90, Audi A6 and A7, Cadillac CTS and many others.
