Cosmetic changes for new Big Horn Black aren’t in favor of redesign. So, as the name says for itself, Big Horn goes black, and we mean really black. We already said that Big Horn will keep characteristic crosshair grille, as well as other details and elements. It’s only about color black, black exterior paint, black wheels, black badges, and black headlight surrounding. Black, black, black, we get it. Someone probably remembers that same treatment was prepared for Ram 1500 Black Express which was unveiled in 2013. But unlike that one, Black Horn Black holds many convenience elements such as 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system as well as driver information 7-inch digital cluster display.
2018 Ram 1500 Big Horn – Three Engines
Below the hood, everything’s the same. The standard engine is 3.6-liter Pentastar with 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. But there are also two optional ones. There’s smaller 3.0-liter turbo diesel which produces 240 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, and the much bigger one that everyone’s heard of. As for the price, Big Horn Black will cost just 105 dollars below the 1500 Sport at $45.685. This model will be available in dealerships in the third quarter of 2017.
